Lying in Wait by Ann Rule is crime, thriller and fiction novel which plots the different crime stories and how they when they caught by the detectives. Ann Rule is the author of this classic novel. There happens a murder of a mother and her infant are caught by the kidnappers. The rumors are saying it was the plan of her husband and some were saying it’s the incident. In the end, the suspect was caught from the family and he does it for money. In the next story a man loves a woman, he is a criminal by profession but he never told her wife. The things changes when she came to know about her husband’s crime. A girl, she is beautiful and cute, run from the state department and she gets the ride from a stranger on the bike. She was running for getting freedom but in the end, her freedom is much worse than being in prison. There is a rapist in the city, he has many cases but never caught. All the department and the women of the city is in stress. No one knows who will be his other hunt and finally, he pays all the consequences of his sins. All these stories are well written, they are full of suspense, drama, and thriller.

This is a gorgeous story about how life doesn’t always work out the way we want it to, but if we’re willing, we can still make it a great life. The novel “The Stranger Beside Me” is an enjoyable story that moves along at a good pace. It is not too quickly, but at a pace which keeps the reader engaged waiting to discover the outcome. It has a satisfactory ending which is a little predictable but ties up all the loose ends. Some of the male characters are a little too good to be true but that doesn’t spoil any part of the story. The author switches between the two time periods effortlessly and easily which doesn’t always happen in these kinds of books. Each storyline had a richness that was only strengthened by the comparison and contrast to the other. The book certainly brought all the feels, and elements of all characters. Throughout the novel, the story is smooth and generally moves along well. At the end of the day if you are looking for something that you have read similar to this before and don’t mind another, then this will satisfy you. If you are looking for something more than just an average read, that you will want to engage with, then this is also something you will enjoy.
