Margaret was an amazing storyteller and very young to reach that level. As a ghostwriter of Vida life story, she got all the information but she is confused as she thinks Vida is keeping secrets while telling the story. Margaret gives her some room to think so she can tell the whole truth about her life. Later on, when she began, Margaret own story becomes resembles the life story of Vida. She told about all the events happens in her since from the beginning. There are some interesting characters in her life, a destructive Uncle Charlie and his sister Isabelle, their parents and the twin daughters of Isabella Adeline and Emmeline along with children caretakers. There happens the series of events which seem to be half-truths, secrets, lies and a lot of confusions.

There are gorgeously written phrases and moments that nearly took my breath away or made me tear up with emotion. This is a fascinating magical realism story which feels like a classical adult fairytale. The authors develop the most interesting and original characters and that is how this story shines. This story combines folklore, science, magic and myth into one delightful tale. The beauty of storytelling is well told in this wonderfully atmospheric tale populated by memorable humans and animal. There are a lot of magical well religious undertones in this story. We would highly recommend this for anyone who is interested in mystery and suspense books.

“Bellman & Black: A Novel” is such a beautiful novel that keeps the readers on the edge from very beginning lines to till the last word. Diane Setterfield is the author of this novel. The author is a great storyteller and readers will get to know it by reading this novel. The beginning of the novel is slow but it gets the reader’s interest after reading the few pages. Each character in this story was interesting and slowly revealed to the reader as the tale unfolded. So many characters are introduced in the first chapters in this novel but they all play an important role. The storyline plays out and doesn’t just immediately wrap all the loose ends up. Each of the characters has a stake in keeping the secret, and the revelation leads to a very satisfying conclusion. No doubt it is well written and thoroughly entertaining. The way the author changes perspectives frequently, often from chapter to chapter, gradually peels away the layers of problems that each character seems to have his/her fair share of. To cut the story short, if you are looking for a great English novel, that makes your precious time more valuable through reading, we highly recommend you to have this one.
