“Commitment: My Autobiography” is an interesting book about a game for football. Didier Drogba is the author of this perfect book. Didier is a stupendous researcher and writer who has the ability to make virtually any subject interesting. The writer is an incredibly humble man, full of humility, wisdom and the inner workings of the human condition. Didier is amazing and this book is a great place to start. All information is provided for one reason or another that brings value to the writer. Didier has written an extremely valuable and timely book to help prevent the unthinkable. Didier is a goldmine of help and information. The points made in the book are backed by empirical research done by the author and others. Fantastic book, amazingly well researched and documented. This is a definite page-turner from beginning to end. The characters are so engaging, that you’re caught from the very beginning. This is a cut well above most sporting memoirs. The single word title is most apt because this man gives everything to the cause whatever that cause may be. Didier tells his story with passion and insightful detail: his early life, football ambitions, eventual arrival at a top Premier League club, his relationships with the multitude of players and coaches – and how his career came to an incredible climax one unforgettable Munich evening in 2012. Then going on to describe the dramas of his appearances for his country, and how his personality and stature enabled him to reach out to help inspire his people to abandon their civil war and work together again. Truly a big man in every way, and a remarkably inspiring story culminating in the work he does through his foundation to help young people in his beloved Ivory Coast. To summarize, there’s a lot of knowledge and a lot of enjoyment in this relatively thin little book. And it’s a fantastic textbook. The book is easy to read, simple to understand and a golden tool for success. Read and enjoy it soon.
