The “Linux for Beginners and Command Line Kung Fu” is a nice introductory book with a clear illustration of Linux. Jason Cannon is the author of this great book. Jason Cannon started his career as a UNIX and Linux system Engineer in 1999. That time he has utilized his Linux skills at companies such as Xerox, UPS, Hewlett-Packard, and Amazon.com. He has acted as a technical consultant and independent contractor for small businesses as well as Fortune 500 companies.
This book has a really nice introduction to Linux together with how to access a Linux system for practice purposes by means of virtual machines and connecting to another Linux PC from Mac/Windows/Linux, etc. The topics of this book are clearly illustrated with screenshots. If you are interested in Linux this is a good place to start and there are references at the end of chapters. This book also reveals how to get access to a Linux server if you don’t already, and which software is needed to connect to Linux from Mac and Windows computers. To know more about Linux, then read this excellent book.
