The “Toronto Reborn: Design Successes and Challenges” is a wonderful book that shares an incisive view of Toronto’s development. Ken Greenberg is an urban designer, writer, and teacher, whose passion and advocacy is for the city over the past few decades. For the four decades, Ken Greenberg has played a pivotal role on public and downtowns, waterfronts, neighborhoods and on-campus master planning, regional growth planning and new community planning. He is the co-founder and Vice Chair of the City Building Institute at RyersonUniversity in Toronto. In Toronto Reborn, the author describes the history of Toronto events that occurred in Toronto, including historical events in the former cities of East York, Scarborough, Old Toronto and York. Toronto Reborn looks at how the works and decisions of citizens, businesses citizens, and governments. The author also describes the Toronto Stock Exchange is the headquarters of Canada’s five largest banks and also the headquarters of many large Canadian and multinational corporations. Additionally, urban people starling new structure building, creating a modern type of houses and sponsoring new events and festivals.
