“Spilled Milk: Based on a true story” is a fact-based story in which we came to know the brutalities a child and her family are facing by the hands of her father and about the plans of the child to get her father punished. This formidable book is written by K.L Randis. He is the new author and has written the old edition of this novel as a beginner but later on, he asked his coworkers for proofreading in old edition and producing a new one with a more interesting and inspiring method of describing the same story. The novel is a wonderful description of the feelings of Brooke Nolan (a kid) for her father. She was a spoiled child as her father didn’t take care of Brooke and her family. He used to beat them. The author tells us that she wants to take help from police and other safety ensuring departments but her father condemns her for exposing his secret and one day at the dinner table she decided to take a stand when she was enjoying dinner. This book describes how she revealed the secret of her father’s brutality. After exposing a secret she realized that as a result of this she will lose the support of family but still she wants her father to be punished. In a conclusion, the Novel Spilled Milk is impressive, encouraging, and full of suspense.
