“The Serendipity Mindset: The Art and Science of Creating Good Luck” is one of the best books that gives solid points to improve your thinking and as well as your life. Christian Busch is the guy behind this book. Christian teaches at New York University (NYU) and the London School of Economics (LSE). He also directs the Global Economy program of the Center for Global Affairs. In this book, he explains serendipity is not about luck in the sense of simple randomness. This book is incredibly timely to come out during a fast changing COVID world where there are so many points of uncertainty. It offers clear tools + structure to on how to process, analyze and execute in moments of uncertainty.
Christian’s book shows, also or especially in these difficult times, that you are responsible for yourself and your happiness and with a positive attitude you can do a lot for yourself and others. It is very uplifting and not only recommendable for entrepreneurs, everyone can, benefit from it. The exercises that he included are very thought provoking and helped me deepen my understanding of serendipity and my perception and experience with it. No doubt, it is a great book which shines important light on one of the most powerful forces driving out lives, destiny, choices and outcomes. Fascinating the way, he takes deep dive into solving and exploring such a powerful yet hidden factor that changes history on a minute by minute basis.
