Servan-Schreiber is a clinical professor of psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh School Of Medicine. He is the co-founder of the Center for Integrative Medicine. The “Anticancer”, is plum-full of tips for enabling our bodies to be at their best for overall health and wellness, along with general disease prevention. This book describes different types of cancer, like brain cancer, prostate cancer, and breast cancer. This is a well-written book written by a cancer survivor. Servan-Schreiber also shares some cancer prevention tips, like don’t use tobacco, because tobacco puts you on a collision course with cancer.
Eat a healthy diet and maintain a healthy weight and be physically active. Avoid risky behaviour and get regular medical care etc. Furthermore, the author also shares a food diet that they will fight with cancer, apples, cherries, carrots, Blueberries and many others. After reading this book, a cancer patient will get a new way of life and feel happy. To sum it up, Anticancer is a must-read for everybody, because it is packed full of good practical and helpful information.
