“Tequila Mockingbird: Cocktails with a Literary Twist” is incredibly entertaining if you make the drinks or not. Tim Federle is the author of this book. This book is extremely clever. Not only is it chock full of wonderful drinks and food, but the names of the recipes are fantastic. With each recipe, Federle makes the connection to the work itself giving a brief synopsis of the book and how it ties in with the recipe. The cocktails aren’t really new, they’re just given a literary twist but hey, people who love to read classic literature usually love a good play on words as much as anything so this makes a fun gift for your bookworm friends who also enjoy a good cocktail. If you know someone who loves to try new drinks and also loves classic literature this is the book for them. It’s good quality with nice artwork. The recipes make sense and you want to try them. Defiantly a fun and unique book for yourself or as a gift.
