The Andromeda Strain
by Michael Crichton

“The Andromeda Strain” is a great story to anyone interested in the cyberpunk type science fiction. Michael Crichton is the author of this novel. The author is a great Hard science fiction writer and really know how and when to entertain the readers. The story which he lays over this construct is great and it is certainly readable. This story is built with two protagonists and two slowly intertwining story arcs that meet in a very satisfying way. During the reading, readers can these scenes in their head very clearly. The dialogue is nice and tight and the author doesn’t over-explain things or sail off into inconsequential avenues of exploration. If you enjoy sci-fi with huge backdrops but drilled down and focused well-developed characters, you will dig this. Bonus points if you are a noir fiction fan. One other note, this book aims to illuminate what the author imagines as an “in-between” or middle stage of humanity’s journey out of the solar system. While many sci-fi stories focus on the near future and many others use the far-flung future as the grist for their tales. That said, this is an epic saga worthy to be called sci-fi. The ageless drama of every aspect of the human condition wrapped in a vac suit and hauling loads of ice home to feed and fuel the 40 billion humans on the inner planets.

“An Invisible Client” lingers long after you turn the final page. Victor Methos is the author of this novel. The author excellent storytelling skills could be judged with this impressive and amazing novel. The author starts the novel with some beautiful characters and then added more characters to make a good pace for readers. Story of the novel is clearly brilliant and easy to understand as each character is connected with others so strongly and in a most entertaining way. It is completely live up to the hype. All the characters were believable and interesting and frightening. Its plot is unique and well written from multiple perspectives, but not too many where you were getting confused. It keeps you guessing and would slowly reveal little clues to keep you interested. This book could get a little graphic for some because it does deal with child murders, so be warned going in that it is not for the faint of heart. But if you are looking for a thrilling ride that makes you feel like you need to watch behind your shoulder then this is your book. This book is how all thriller and horror books should be like creepy, thrilling and page-turner. Excellent plot points and follow through with so many twists and turns. That said, if you are looking for one of the best and most entertaining kidnapping thrillers, we highly recommend you to bag this book.
