There are so many ideas in this cookbook to help get meals made quickly. The keto diet is a very different diet than most people are accustomed to, but this book will help make the transition easy. In the book, Maria emphasized the importance of eating meat-based fat, for example, bacon, tallow, butter, and eggs. Also plant-based fat, such as avocado or coconut oil. She includes many amazing meals ranging from breakfast to dinner and even dessert. Yes, keto dessert is possible using natural delicious sweeteners that have little to no effect on blood sugar and ketones, which allows you to stay in ketosis. Some of these that Maria recommends are Swerve (erythritol) or Monk Fruit. Both of these are diabetic friendly. This diet is fantastic for diabetics because it keeps the blood sugar steady and gives your pancreas a break from producing insulin.
