Edition” is one of the best books for increasing your memory power and pass your exams with flying colours. Dominic O’Brien is the guy behind this awesome book. This is by far the best comprehensive book on Mnemonics out there. Keep in mind that doesn’t mean this book has everything, it means that it’s well-rounded system is presented, it is complete. From speed reading to note-taking, memorization of specific topics, how to relax when stressed about a test. The explanations are longer. When reading, you get the feeling that the author took his time, this book feels like a labour of love whereas “How to develop a brilliant memory” was made more for people who are impatient and want to speed through things. I can’t stress how well written “how to pass exams” is. If you want to enjoy good literature while learning, this has got to be at the top. The organization is better than “How to develop a brilliant memory”. In his other book he started off with acronyms, visualization, etc, and then went into speed reading and note-taking. Here he starts off with speed reading, then notes taking, and on. The organization is very conducive to learning and building upon previous chapters. To cut the story short, your success is only far from reading this book.
